John Theisen Nameplate
John Theisen Photo John joined Orion in 2000 as president and chief executive officer. A graduate of Washington State University School of Business, he has worked in various executive capacities in Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles with Westin Hotels, Restaurants Unlimited, Frederick and Nelson Department Stores and Seattle's Best Coffee.

John is an experienced executive with expertise in developing strategic plans, developing strong management teams, turning around underperforming companies, and developing companies for expansion.

John actively serves in various leadership capacities in the Aerospace Futures Alliance, Washington Aerospace Training and Research Center, Washington Council on Aerospace and the Auburn Regional Airport.

Jeff Black Nameplate
Jeff Black Photo Jeff relocated from the Midwest to join Orion as CFO in 2014. He brings a global manufacturing perspective to help address local needs. Jeff has nearly 25 years of experience having worked with two companies in the medical device and automotive industries. Most recently, Jeff spent seven years as CFO of mid-sized company outside Chicago, IL.

Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and Master in Business Administration from Wayne State University.

Jeff serves on the boards for White River Valley Museum and Special Olympics Unified Robotics.

Tom Brosius Nameplate
Tom Brosius Photo Tom Brosius is the Vice President and General Manager at Orion where he has managed the Aerospace Manufacturing division since 2007.

Tom began his aerospace career in the US Air Force and managed aircraft flight line maintenance organizations at both Griffiss Air Force Base in New York and at McChord Air Force Base in Washington before retiring from the military. Following his military career, Tom managed manufacturing operations as the Plant Manager at Flow International in Kent, Washington pushing the leading edge of manufacturing water jet cutting systems.

Tom is an Executive Board Member for the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA), a non-profit organization that promotes and supports the growth and competitiveness of the Northwest aerospace industry. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Kathy Powers Nameplate
Kathy Powers Photo Kathy is Orion's Vice President of Services and is responsible for both organizational and divisional strategic direction including program development and management of Orion's services and programs. She has been with Orion since 2001 and is involved in trade and advocacy groups nationally and in WA that represent and support people with disabilities. Kathy is on the executive team of the Washington State Rehabilitation Council, the advisory committee for the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Western Washington University, represents Washington CRP's for the Region X Vocational Rehabilitation coalition, is active in the Community Employment Alliance as well as the Directors of Disabilities Organizations.

Kathy has worked with community non-profits and within the vocational rehabilitation field for 25 years. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree, Kathy provided residential and outreach support for at-risk youth in Northeast MA; after which she coordinated and directed vocational programs and services at Community Work Services. Kathy has a Master's of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Boston University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).

Steve Tyler Nameplate
Steve Tyler Photo Steve has been with Orion since 2009 and was the first hire for the Contact Center Services division. Steve has managed the development of the Contact Center from the ground up into the award-winning state of the art facility that it is today, and has it poised for continued growth.

Steve provides executive leadership and daily oversight, maintaining a regular schedule of timeline reviews, action plans, transitions, quality implementation and review of contract activities. Steve is an expert in customer service, workforce management and assembling the right team to meet every task.

Steve has over twenty years of contact center industry experience in managerial roles, including twelve years at Regence Blue Shield where he managed the contact center for their largest account, The Boeing Company. Steve began his career as a Call Center Supervisor at AAA Washington, which operated a 24/7 call center.

Sarah Bowles Nameplate
Sarah Bowles Photo Sarah Bowles joined Orion in 2013. Sarah is the Director of Human Resources at Orion and has over 15 years of experience across diverse industries: food and beverage manufacturing and sales, aerospace manufacturing and finishing, contact centers, and the automotive industry. Throughout her career, Sarah has taken a strategic approach to managing employer sponsored healthcare costs, the creation and growth of internal HR departments and processes, company policy and handbook revisions, as well as organizational development and cultural alignment. Sarah focuses on taking an inclusive employment approach, including "speaking the language" of her peers, and recognizing the unique needs of the industry she is supporting in order to enact change and gain buy in from key business partners. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Master in Business Administration, is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Bill Holder Nameplate
Bill is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and is responsible for all services business development. He has more than 20 years of experience as a business development executive, selling professional and technology solutions, including contact center / BPO services. This experience includes partner development for Deloitte & Touche, Microvision, Imagenet, vCustomer, Free & Clear, and most recently Electric Lightwave. Specialties include major account partnerships and strategic industry partnering of all types. Bill is a Washington native from Spokane and a graduate of the University of Washington business school. He has sat on several nonprofit boards and is a supporter of Special Olympics, as well as Make-A-Wish and other organizations.
