Many participants move onto jobs within production and manufacturing, while others utilize their unique skills and experience to move into other careers.

Each program participant works closely with a manufacturing staff member and a vocational counselor to monitor progress and address any obstacles to employment.

We offer both assessment and training in this program:

Orion staff work with participants to assess their readiness to enter the workforce and return to work. We assess the following areas:

Specific skill training in work areas is provided, including machine and assembly operations, math skills and reading schematics.

Physical Demands:

Manufacturing work includes a variety of hand work and machine work that is performed sitting or standing

Our work environment demands constant use of one's hands and coordination with metal parts and tools, machinery, etc.

Program participants are not charged a fee for program participation. Orion contracts with third parties for sponsorship.
